13-Oxyingenol-dodecanoate (13OD) is a tumor suppressor with anti-HIV-1 activity (EC50= 33.7 nM). It induces ULK1 expression, leading to mitochondrial dysfunction and cellular autophagy. Additionally, 13OD increases BAX expression and suppresses BCL-2 to promote apoptosis.
