Description

Albanol B, an arylbenzofuran derivative from mulberries, shows anti-Alzheimer's, antibacterial, and antioxidant activities. It inhibits cancer cell proliferation, downregulates CDK1, induces G2/M cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Albanol B also induces mitochondrial ROS production and increases AKT and ERK1/2 phosphorylation.
