Description

Atractyloside potassium salt is a powerful and specific inhibitor of mitochondrial ADP/ATP transport. It inhibits chloride channels in rat heart mitochondrial membranes, activates autophagy, inhibits ANT2 and mTOR, and promotes p-AMPK activation. It exhibits anticancer effects on non-small cell lung cancer and can inhibit liver steatosis, but also has nephrotoxicity.
