Avenanthramide A, a phytoalexin from oats (Avena sativa L.), targets RNA helicase DDX3. It causes mitochondrial swelling, increased ROS production, and induces apoptosis in CRC cells. Orally active, it exhibits antitumor efficacy in mouse models.
