BDH1 Protein, Human (His) is a recombinant human BDH1 that catalyzes the reversible reduction of acetoacetate (AcAc) to 3-hydroxybutyrate (3HB). It's the final enzyme in hepatic ketogenesis and the initial enzyme in ketolysis.
