Description

Cudraflavone B is a prenylated flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and antitumor properties, and a dual COX-1 and COX-2 inhibitor. It blocks NF-κB translocation in macrophages, inhibiting TNFα gene expression and secretion. Cudraflavone B also triggers the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway, activates NF-κB, MAPK p38, and ERK, and induces SIRT1 expression, thereby inhibiting human oral squamous cell carcinoma cell growth.
