Datasheet

Description

Cytidine (Standard) is the analytical standard for Cytidine, intended for research and analytical use. This pyrimidine nucleoside is an RNA component and uridine precursor. It controls neuronal-glial glutamate cycling, affecting cerebral phospholipid metabolism, catecholamine synthesis, and mitochondrial function. In vivo, Cytidine decreases glutamate/glutamine levels and improves depressive symptoms earlier.
