Description

Hederagenin (Standard) is the analytical standard for Hederagenin, intended for research and analytical use. This orally active triterpenoid saponin has antitumor activity. It inhibits LPS-induced iNOS, COX-2, and NF-κB expression, increases cancer cell ROS production, disrupts mitochondrial membrane potential, and induces apoptosis. Hederagenin also sensitizes cancer cells to Cisplatin and Paclitaxel, enhancing apoptosis, and shows potential against alcoholic liver injury.
