Description

Isochamaejasmin, a biflavonoid, exhibits anticancer, antiplasmodial, and insecticidal activities. It potently activates NF-κB and causes DNA damage, inducing apoptosis via the mitochondrial pathway in AW1 cells. It also shows moderate antiplasmodial activity (IC50​ of 7.3 μM for P. falciparum) with relatively low cytotoxicity (CC50​ of 29.0 μM).
