Isochamaejasmin, a biflavonoid, exhibits anticancer, antiplasmodial, and insecticidal activities. It potently activates NF-κB and causes DNA damage, inducing apoptosis via the mitochondrial pathway in AW1 cells. It also shows moderate antiplasmodial activity (IC50 of 7.3 μM for P. falciparum) with relatively low cytotoxicity (CC50 of 29.0 μM).
