IVD Protein, Mouse (sf9, His), a vital component of the leucine catabolic pathway, facilitates the transformation of isovaleryl-CoA/3-methylbutanoyl-CoA into 3-methylbut-2-enoyl-CoA. This recombinant mouse IVD, expressed in Sf9 insect cells with an N-terminal His tag, also shows some capacity to oxidize saturated short-chain acyl-CoA thioesters.
