(-)-Limonene ((S)-(-)-Limonene) is an orally active compound that can cause mild bronchoconstriction. It alleviates cytosolic and mitochondrial oxidative stress by inhibiting Ca2+ and Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II.
