Datasheet

Description

This indazole-3-carboxylic acid derivative inhibits mitochondria-bound hexokinase, reducing aerobic and anaerobic glycolysis in Ehrlich ascites tumor cells (IC50 = 90 µM and 45 µM). It causes intracellular acidification by inhibiting lactate transport and also inhibits the mitochondrial pyruvate carrier (Ki = 2.5 µM), monocarboxylate transporter isozymes, and succinate-ubiquinone reductase activity of complex II.
