DiSC3(5) is a fluorescent tracer dye commonly used to evaluate mitochondrial membrane potential, with an excitation/emission wavelength of up to 622/670 nm. It can inhibit the mitochondrial NAD-associated respiratory system with an IC50 value of 8 μM.
