Description

SHMT2 Protein, Human catalyzes serine cleavage to produce 5, 10-methylenetetrahydrofolate for purine synthesis. This tag-free recombinant human SHMT2, expressed in E. coli, binds to mitochondrial DNA and participates in target protein deubiquitination via the BRISC complex.
