SRT1720 is a Sirtuin1 (SIRT1) activator that reduces glucose levels and hyperinsulinemia in obesity models. It inhibits vascular inflammation from angiotensin II-induced atherosclerosis, and reverses abnormal mitochondrial function in neurons exposed to 20-HETE.
