Description

Taurodeoxycholate sodium salt, a bile salt-related anionic detergent, forms in the liver by conjugating deoxycholate with Taurine. Taurodeoxycholic acid is used to isolate membrane proteins, including inner mitochondrial membrane proteins. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects.
