TFAM Protein, Mouse (His, Myc) is critical for regulating mitochondrial transcription, binding to light chain promoters, and essential for basal mtDNA transcription. In the TFB2M/POLRMT initiation complex, this recombinant mouse TFAM, expressed in E. coli with N-10*His and C-Myc tags, recruits POLRMT and promotes promoter opening.
