Description
10-Acetyl-3,7-dihydroxybenzoxazine (Amplex Red) is a non-fluorescent, highly sensitive and stable H2O2 probe. Amplex Red is a fluorescent substrate suitable for peroxidase. Amplex Red reagent reacts with H2O2 in a 1:1 ratio in the presence of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to produce highly fluorescent resorcinol. Because H2O2 is produced in many different enzymatic reactions, Amplex Red reagent allows researchers to detect the activity of many different enzymes.
