Description
Hydroxocobalamin is a biologically active form of vitamin B12. In an anemic mouse model, administration at a dose of 2 μg per day for 4 days increased the number of red blood cells by 2.5-fold.

Storage
The lyophilized form should be stored at -20°C, in a desiccated environment. In lyophilized form, the chemical remains stable for 36 months. In solution, it should be stored at -20°C and used within 3 months to prevent loss of potency. Aliquoting is recommended to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. |
