KARS Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated
Description
Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are enzymes that attach specific amino acids to tRNAs. Lysyl-tRNA synthetase is an enzyme found in the cytoplasm, consisting of two identical subunits. It belongs to class II family of tRNA synthetases. This enzyme has been identified as a target for autoantibodies in human autoimmune diseases such as polymyositis or dermatomyositis. Additionally, different versions of this gene have been discovered through alternative splicing, resulting in various isoforms.
