Norisoboldine, an alkaloid compound derived from Radix Linderae, exerts inhibitory effects on synovial angiogenesis in rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis. It achieves this by modulating the Notch1 pathway, specifically influencing the endothelial tip cell phenotype associated with angiogenesis.
