The PROseq FastSelect -5S/16S/23S Kits, using a unique technique, eliminate the predominantly present bacterial 5S/16S/23S rRNA from your RNA-seq library. Specially designed for complex community microbial samples extraction from sources such as soil, water, stool, and sludge, these kits handle a variety of diverse bacterial populations. They ensure rRNA coverage based on nearly 600,000 entries of SILVA 16S sequences, around 170,000 entries of SILVA 23S sequences, and over 7200 entries from the 5S rRNA database. Moreover, in-silico modeling indicates the coverage of more than 95% of all known 5S, 16S, and 23S rRNA sequences.
The PROseq FastSelect -5S/16S/23S Kits have undergone testing with RNA-seq library kits from PROTHERAGEN, Illumina, and NEB and are compatible with all significant methods of RNA-seq library preparation. The effortless 14-minute protocol and bead cleanup are incorporated smoothly with all frequent RNA-seq library kits and can be functional on both fragmented or non-fragmented (full-length) RNA.
