PROseq FastSelect -Globin Kit

The trial size kit comes with PROseq FastSelect reagent, designed for globin mRNA removal, and is adequate for 8 reactions from samples of human, mouse, and rat.

Features

It is compatible with stranded RNA-seq library kits from PROTHERAGEN, Illumina, NEB and KAPA. A single reagent can be used for human, mouse, rat, and other mammalian species. High-performance rRNA and/or globin elimination can be achieved in merely 14 minutes. Only a single step of pipetting needed - just mix PROseq FastSelect reagent with RNA and allow it to incubate. There's no requirement for additional cleanup procedures or changes in the NGS library protocol.

The PROseq FastSelect -rRNA HMR and PROseq FastSelect -Globin Kits operate via a unique approach, eliminating highly abundant, yet scientifically less valuable, RNA from your RNA-seq libraries. Those conducting whole transcriptome analysis with RNA-seq can use the PROseq FastSelect -rRNA HMR to extract cytoplasmic and mitochondrial rRNA. And for those working with blood samples, we suggest using PROseq FastSelect -rRNA/Globin to eliminate both rRNA and globin mRNA. If your research involves blood-based mRNA enrichment, and you need to remove only globin mRNA, PROseq FastSelect -Globin is recommended. These two kits, PROseq FastSelect -rRNA HMR and PROseq FastSelect -Globin, are capable of extracting more undesirable RNA and are 30% quicker than our earlier kit versions.
