REPLI-g Cell WGA & WTA Kit

SensiPhi DNA Polymerase, Buffers, and Reagents from REPLI-g are designed for parallel 12/48 × 60 µl whole genome amplification reactions and 12/48 × 60 µl whole transcriptome amplification reactions, providing a typical yield of 20 µg from each reaction.

Features

Genomic DNA and RNA (total RNA or enriched mRNA) can be amplified synchronously.
There is an easy correlation between genomic status and transcription patterns.
The utilization of MDA technology facilitates unbiased amplification.
It is plausible to amplify gDNA and RNA directly from cells or tissues.
It’s applicable for all downstream processes, including NGS.

Product Details

The REPLI-G Cell WGA & WTA Kit is the sole product capable of amplifying both the entire genome and transcriptome consistently, allowing direct correlation between the genome and transcriptome procured from tiny samples (25-1000 cells). The kit uses specialized buffers and reagents that undergo a unique purification process to prevent REPLI-g amplification contamination of nucleic acids. Ingenious lysates effectively stabilize cellular nucleic acids, leading to an accurate portrayal of genomic DNA and RNA levels. The kit utilizes the groundbreaking Multiple Displacement Amplification (MDA) technology and the innovative REPLI-g SensiPhi DNA polymerase, enabling unbiased amplification of genomic DNA and total RNA or mRNA (poly A +). MDA, unlike PCR-based amplification methods, can multiply the high fidelity by up to 1000-fold, preventing false-positive or negative findings.

Applications

The REPLI-g Cell WGA & WTA Kit can effectively amplify transcriptome (RNA), mRNA with poly A+ tails, total RNA, all fragments of the RNA transcript, the 3' end of mRNA, Lnc and linc RNAs. It is also suitable for genomic (DNA), genomic DNA, and mitochondrial DNA. However, it does not apply to small nucleic acids such as tRNAs and miRNAs or highly degraded DNA or RNA.
