REPLI-g WTA Single Cell Kit

REPLI-g SensiPhi DNA Polymerase, Buffers, and Reagents are all included for use in 24 x 60 µl whole transcriptome amplification reactions, which typically yield about 20 µg.

Features

MDA technology facilitates homogenous WTA with virtually no sequence bias, allowing for complete transcript coverage from a single cell.
This is optimized for newer technology applications such as NGS.
It enables the amplification of total RNA or enriched mRNA (ploy A+) RNAs, providing new tools for research in cancer and stem cells.

Product Details

The REPLI-g WTA Single Cell Kit is designed to enable dependable studies on transcriptional regulation effects at an individual cell transcript level. It can uniformly amplify all transcripts from a single cell or up to 1000 cells. The kit contains special buffers and reagents that are uniquely and properly purified to avoid amplification of any contaminating nucleic acids through the REPLI-g method. Innovative lysates are used to stabilize cellular RNA effectively, ensuring the final RNA product represents the gene expression profile as it exists in living organisms. All the enzymatic steps have been purposefully altered to effectively process RNA for precise cDNA amplification. The amplification steps use the cutting-edge Multiple Displacement Amplification (MDA) technology, minimizing any sequence variations.

Applications

The REPLI-g WTA Single Cell Kit uniformly amplifies all transcripts from extremely small samples, with minimal or virtually no bias, and provides an accurate representation of single cell transcription patterns. The amplified cDNA is the perfect match for RNA-Seq (second-generation sequencing), gene expression microarrays or qPCR applications, contingent on the specific methodology used. The kit is primarily designed for the analysis of whole transcript amplification, that includes mRNA with poly A+ tails, total RNA, all ranges of the RNA transcriptome, 3' ends of mRNAs, and Lnc and Linc RNA. However, it is not suitable for use with small amounts of nucleic acids like tRNA and miRNA.
