Description
Alpha1 adrenergic receptor (α-AR) antagonist.
A typical calcium channel protein inhibitor that blocks L-type Ca2+ channels in smooth muscle cells and cardiomyocytes.
Vasodilators known to reduce the renal clearance of digoxin and are used to control hypertension, angina, cardiac arrhythmias, and vascular headaches.
In vitro apoptosis inducers in primary and metastatic colon adenocarcinoma cell lines
Inhibitors of drug efflux pump proteins, such as Mdr (p-glycoprotein), are often overexpressed in certain tumor cell lines.
Substrate of CYP3A4 and CYP2C6.
Used for fluorescent cell sorting of DNA content because it blocks the efflux of a variety of DNA-binding fluorescent carriers such as Hoechst 33342.
Anti-diabetic in animal models by limiting the expression of TXNIP.
